Overview

Learning and content design for KPMG's public sector and defence work: eLearning, motion, audio and document systems delivered on BPSS-cleared projects.

The Brief

Public sector clients needed learning and communications that work for broad, mixed audiences: accessible, on-brand and easy to update, produced to the security and quality standards of cleared government work.

Delivery came with real-world pressure. Team absences meant work had to be picked up mid-flight, and I was brought onto the After Effects project at the last minute. It was also my first time building in Evolve, so I learned the tool while delivering live client work.

Process

eLearning: I authored a series of tutorials in Evolve, structuring complex guidance into short, self-paced modules with clear navigation, scenarios and progress.

Documents: I rebranded a large set of Word and PowerPoint files, rebuilding them as consistent templates so teams could keep producing on-brand material without design support.

Motion: Joining late, I produced animation for a stock video library in After Effects, built as reusable assets that slot into future content.

Audio: I edited and produced three separate podcast series in Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro, through to finished episodes.

Clear enough for everyone, secure enough for government.

Outcome

Every project and deliverable landed on time, and each received positive feedback. Accessibility was built in throughout, with WCAG 2.1 standards followed across modules, documents and media.

Along the way I upskilled in After Effects and podcast editing, and picked up Evolve from scratch. The work itself is confidential, so the visuals here are representative mock-ups. I'm happy to walk through the real projects in person.

For published examples of my learning and document design, see my learning & corporate samples.
